Annual Concert – Monday 18 August

We’re delighted to invite the Kilvington community to join us in celebrating and supporting our students at this year’s Annual Music Concert! This special evening will showcase the dedication, talent and teamwork of our music students and staff, and is a testament to their hard work throughout the year.

The program features performances by our Years 3 to 6 Choir, Junior Klefs, Senior Guitar Ensemble, Celtic Band, Stage Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Senior Percussion Ensemble, Flute Ensembles, The Kilvington Dancers, and The Kantabile, Krooners, Contemporary and Kadence Choirs. The concert will conclude with a spectacular finale, bringing together all of our choirs and every student in Years 7 and 8 for a powerful final performance.

• Cost - $35 for adults, $15 for concessions, complimentary for students

Reminder: Annual Concert Rehearsals - Sunday 3 August

A reminder that all Senior School ensembles performing at the Annual Concert are rehearsing this Sunday 3 August. Further details can be found on the ensemble pages on KCEE.

Victorian School Music Festival – Tuesday 26 August

The Kilvington Concert Band will perform at the Victorian School Music Festival on Tuesday 26 August. The band will depart Kilvington at 2.30pm, and return around 7.00pm. Parents and friends are welcome to attend the performance at the Hawthorn Arts Centre.

String Concert – change in date

Please note that the date of the String Concert has been changed to avoid coinciding with the Years 3 and 4 camp. The String Concert will now be held on Wednesday 3 September, commencing at 6.30pm in the Sports Centre.

Monash University Day of Strings – Sunday 17 August

The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance warmly invites high school and tertiary string players to participate in a day of masterclasses and music making with members of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra on August 17 at Monash.
