Year 8 & 9 Social

Last Friday evening, our Year 8 and 9 students enjoyed a vibrant and engaging Social held in the Sport Centre. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with their peers in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

A wide range of activities ensured there was something for everyone. Highlights included inflatable dodgeball, which proved a crowd favourite, and the sport dome where students participated in friendly games of netball, basketball and soccer. The silent disco created an energetic atmosphere, while karaoke and Just Dance allowed students to showcase their confidence and creativity.

Students also enjoyed the eSports corner, which offered a popular space for gaming enthusiasts. For those seeking a quieter pace, the chill-out zone provided a relaxed environment where students could engage in creative activities such as headband making, bracelet making, pen decorating and colouring.

Students demonstrated high levels of participation and positive behaviour throughout the evening, showing respect, inclusivity and a strong sense of community, which contributed to a successful event for all involved.
