Mock Trials – Round 3

Round three of the Law Society Mock Trial Competition was held on Thursday, 18 June at the Supreme Court of WA. This was our final round for the year. 

The team, made up of mostly Year 10s, had to argue a very complicated civil inheritance case as the plaintiffs. Students performed extremely well but were narrowly out-performed by an experienced Year 12 Fremantle College team who won with a 6 point lead. 

I am very proud of the development of the team; we now have considerable talent depth, and I anticipate that they will perform at an even higher standard in next year’s competition.
