From the Principal

As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to thank our College community for their continued support and involvement.

A particular highlight this week was our Annual Music Showcase on Tuesday evening. Congratulations to all our talented performers who shared their gifts so generously, and sincere thanks to our Performing Arts staff, support staff, volunteers, students and families whose commitment, preparation and encouragement made the evening such a wonderful success.

I am also delighted to announce that the refurbishment of K Block, our Science building, is now officially complete. This exciting upgrade to our campus looks beautiful and will be fully operational from the beginning of Term 3. We look forward to seeing students and staff make the most of this outstanding new teaching & learning space.

As we look ahead to Term 3, we are also delighted to welcome several new staff members to the Lumen Christi College community:

• Mr Steven Willis – HASS teacher
• Ms Alphina Padua – RE/HASS teacher
• Ms Juliane da Silva Peres Muzulon – College Psychologist
• Ms Fatima Ahmad – Education Assistant
• Ms Marie Senior – Education Assistant
