PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome back! It has been wonderful seeing our students return over the past week, settling straight back into their routines and diving into learning with focus and enthusiasm.

We have a busy term ahead filled with rich classroom learning and a fantastic line-up of extra-curricular activities. Coming up soon, we have our much-anticipated biennial Book Parade dress-up during Book Week—always a highlight of the year! We are also looking forward to opening our doors this Thursday for Grandparents Day to celebrate the wonderful grandparents and special friends in our community.

Alinta Uniform Shop

Please note a slight change to our Uniform Shop hours this term—be sure to check the school app/website for the updated times.

We are thrilled to welcome Talira to our staff team this term! Please join us in giving her a warm welcome. At the same time, we send a huge thank you to Mel for her dedicated work and contributions to our school over the past few years. We wish her all the very best in her future endeavours. Students remain in their winter uniform until the end of Term 3. From September 1 students can wear either summer or winter uniform. Please remember if you need to have a uniform custom made that it takes a number of weeks. Please see the staff in the shop as soon as possible for custom made summer uniforms.

Transition & 2027 Planning

While Term 3 is underway, planning for 2027 has already begun across staffing, enrolments, and timetabling.

• Year 6 to 7 Transition: Our secondary journey begins tonight with a Family Information Session for our transitioning students.
• Kindergarten 2027 Transition: Kicking off next week! Families who have accepted their enrolment offer will receive detailed information electronically regarding these sessions.

NAPLAN Results

Today, NAPLAN student reports are being sent home to families in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9. Beyond individual student progress, we use this collective data to continually evaluate and refine our teaching strategies, ensuring we support every student in reaching their full academic potential.

P&F Mega Raffle Launches Today

Our annual P&F Mega Raffle officially starts today! Each family will be sent home with a ticket book to sell. We’ve extended the selling window this year in the hope of boosting our sales even further. Tickets can also be purchased conveniently online via the QR code on the flyer/ticket books. Thank you in advance for supporting our P&F’s fundraising efforts!

School Fees & Community Support

Armidale Catholic Schools is continuing to work alongside us in managing school fee payments. We want to extend a sincere thank you to all our families who regularly pay their fees, and to those who proactively reach out to speak with us when they require support.
