Caulfield Grammar School Visit

On Thursday, 30 April, we were treated to a wonderful afternoon of music when Caulfield Grammar School stopped by on their way to Mount Gambier for the Generations in Jazz Competition.

Three of their bands performed a live concert for our Year 7 and Ensemble music students.  It was a fantastic opportunity to experience live ensemble performance and see what dedicated music practice and ensemble experience looks like in action.

After the concert, the fun continued with a series of workshops.  Our Year 7 music students took part in instrument workshops alongside Caulfield's teachers and students, our Year 7 drama students enjoyed a drama workshop with Mr Pohl and selected their instruments for Semester Two, and our Concert Band had a dedicated session with one of Caulfield's music teachers.
