Thank You!

It’s been a huge year for CHAPS this year!! 

BBQs, bake stalls, chocolates, Easter hampers, movie tickets, discos, trivia night, colour run…. But it’s been awesome!! 

We may be a small group, but we had lots of community support and together we raised approximately $53,000 to go back into our incredible school. WOW!! 👏🏼 

Thank you to our dedicated CHAPS members. A lot of work goes into these events and we are thankful to you and all of your efforts. 

Thank you to our school community! You all get behind our events and support us and we appreciate you very much. It’s your participation and support that drums up these incredible fundraising amounts. 

Our efforts this year will go towards:

- the installation of two new cricket nets next to the netball courts

-  the student-led project designing and rolling out new tables and chairs in the senior school yard

- the student led projecting designing and rolling out renovations to the Year 4 garden; and

- the design and purchase of the (4) new house marquees (currently in the design phase)

Our first meeting in 2026 is worth taking note of, so keep your eyes peeled for it in January. We are putting on pizza and drinks and you’re all invited!! 🥂 🗓️

We discuss what fundraising events we have planned for 2026, we get school planning updates from Principal Holdsworth. We’re in “the know”, ya know. 

We eat, we drink and we chat. It’s very casual, and coming along doesn’t mean you’re signing your life away and locking you into being apart of a committee or a council 🫠 We are just a group of parents who help with fundraising and we get together when we need to. 

It’s an opportunity to voice your opinion and have your say in what we can do to support our kids and our school. 

We try to meet monthly on a Monday at 7pm but it really works out to about 8 meetings a year. 

Next year we would love to invite you to come along and enjoy some food, drinks and good company! 

For now, enjoy your summer holiday break! Rest, recuperate, pray the weather gods bless us with decent, consistent sunshine 🎄🫶🏼
