Wellbeing & Culture

It’s hard to believe that this is the last Wellbeing newsletter article for 2025. While the holiday season brings much excitement and connection, for others in our community, it signals a hard time of missing loved ones, financial stress and high emotions.

At Croydon Hills, we are privileged to have a dedicated Wellbeing team and excellent teachers and ES staff who support students and their families throughout the year. As we break for the next few weeks, if you or your loved ones need support, please ‘AskIzzy’, a ‘one stop shop’ for all different services and agencies Victoria wide.

We wish you all a safe, happy and healthy Christmas time. A few days before the start of school, please remember to help your children get into school routines, such as; re aligning sleep patterns (if they have gone a little astray over the holidays), eating at similar times to school (Brain food 10am, recess snack 11.30am and lunch 1.50pm), practising getting ready in the morning including putting school uniforms on, packing lunchboxes and drink bottles into bags and having time for breakfast. On the first day back, remember to allow more time to travel to school so that you can be early and everyone can start the year cool, calm and collected.
