Junior & Intermediate Concert

Our final major concert for the year took place on November 7th, featuring our Junior & Intermediate ensembles. It was great to see students enthusiastic about organising their own small groups and duets, as well as students willing to have a go at doing a solo. Congratulations to all students and staff involved for putting on another great show. Thanks to Daniel B. from Year 11 for the photos below:

Music Excursion

Suzi REID

Woodwind & Bass Guitar Teacher

On Tuesday 3rd December, a group of music students visited the Highvale Retirement Village to put on a musical performance. Residents were treated to an eclectic mix of Classical, Jazz, Pop and even Christmas carols, performed by the talented year 7, 8 and 9 students. Instruments included woodwind, brass, piano, string and bass guitars. After the performance, students joined the residents for afternoon tea and a chat, before walking back to school.

Due to the success of the afternoon, plans are already underway to visit soon again in the new year.

Thanks to all students involved, and to Daniel Beng our upper string teacher, for their involvement in this successful performance.
