Footy Colours Day
What a fantastic day we had celebrating Footy Colours Day at Woodend Primary School! It was wonderful to see so many students and staff proudly wearing their team colours, no matter what sport or team they represented.
Our JSC students did an amazing job organising and running the lunchtime activities. Students had lots of fun testing their skills in the handball competition, longest kick and goal-kicking challenge. A big thank you to everyone who joined in, we certainly have some very talented students at Woodend Primary!
We would also like to recognise what a wonderful group of JSC representatives we have this year. Their fantastic ideas, enthusiasm and organisation were what made the day such a success. From coming up with the activities to helping organise and run them on the day, they worked together brilliantly and made sure everything ran smoothly. We are very proud of the way they represented our school and showed such great leadership.
Most importantly, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to our wonderful students, families and wider school community for supporting this important cause. Together, we raised over $500 for Footy Colours Day!
Money raised through Footy Colours Day supports the Fight Cancer Foundation, helping to fund patient accommodation for more than 1,000 families each year while their loved ones undergo cancer treatment.
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support shown by our Woodend Primary community. Thank you for helping us make Footy Colours Day such a fun and successful event!
