Formation for Mission Staff Day donations to Tassie Mums

On the first day of Term 3, our staff had a faith formation day around the spirituality of St Francis of Assisi. They participated in a day of reflection and contemplation around lessons we can learn from the values and life of St Francis. The focus for this day was how St Francis was a man of peace, love and service, and the activities the staff engaged in during the day reflected this.

In our “service” group, staff were asked to donate items for hygiene packs to donate to families in need. We give thanks for the amazing generosity shown by these beautiful people in our school community.

We have now donated these items to Tassie Mums, a group that provides for the needs of many impoverished families in our community. Thank you, Maddie and Kerran, for dropping in to pick up these donations, and thank you once again to the wonderful staff here at John Paul II.
