The famous RNPS Family Festival Dog Show will be back this year and we want to see your pup in all their glory! Keep your eyes peeled for your opportunity to register your furry friend to star on the Family Festival Main Stage, where they can share their best trick, a cute costume or just their wonderful personality with our community, with a chance to win prizes for our Festival’s most loved pups. Don’t miss this fun event for kids and the young at heart too. The RNPS Family Festival Dog Show will be first up on the Main Stage at 12pm!

 Our Silent Auction is Going Online!

There’s another exciting addition to this year’s RNPS Family Festival — for the first time ever, our Silent Auction is going online! 🎉

 

Families will be able to browse and bid on an incredible collection of items, experiences and prizes from the comfort of home — and keep an eye on those all-important bids as Festival Day approaches!

 

We have been incredibly fortunate to receive some fantastic donations from our school community, local businesses and supporters, with plenty of exciting items up for grabs. Thank you so much to all who donated!

Our RNPS Collaborative Artworks!

 

Our students have been working together to create a collection of beautiful, one-of-a-kind artworks especially for the Family Festival Silent Auction. Each piece has been collaboratively created by our students, meaning there is only one of each in the world.

 

More than simply an artwork, they are a little piece of RNPS — and we have a feeling there may be some competitive bidding when these ones go live! 👀

 

A huge thank you to our wonderful Visual Arts teachers, Mrs Abbruzzese and Miss Adkins, for bringing this idea to life and working with our students to create what will surely be some of the most popular auction pieces in Family Festival history. The artworks will be on display in the Main Office at the beginning of Term 4.

📣We Need You! Volunteer at the RNPS Family Festival

An event this big simply couldn’t happen without the wonderful support of our school community!

 

As our biggest fundraising event, the Festival is an incredibly important day for RNPS — but it also takes plenty of helping hands. We’re asking families to volunteer some time on the day to help out at a stall or support our BBQs. Whether you can give one shift or two, every volunteer makes a huge difference and helps ensure everyone gets plenty of time to enjoy the Festival with their own family too.

 

To share the load, each year level has been allocated a Festival stall to support:

 

  • Prep: Crystal Dig
  • Grade 1: Lob-a-Choc
  • Grade 2: Bake Sale
  • Grade 3: Glam Hall
  • Grade 4: Plant Sale & Wine Lotto
  • Grade 5: Mystery Bags
  • Grade 6: Mastika & Fairy Floss/Popcorn

🍔🌭 BBQs – We’re All In!

Our Main BBQ and Sausage Sizzle are a whole-school effort! Families across RNPS will also have opportunities to jump in and help keep these busy Festival favourites running throughout the day.

Don’t worry about remembering where or when you’re needed just yet — when volunteer sign-ups open, everything will be clearly laid out so you can simply find your year level and choose an available time that works for you.

How do I sign up?

We’ve made volunteering as easy as possible! Families will receive a link to our online Festival Volunteer Sign Up, where you’ll be able to see the available opportunities and select a shift.

 

Volunteer sign-ups will go live before the beginning of Term 4, so please keep an eye on your Compass News Feed during the second week of the school holidays for the link and all the details.

 

A huge thank you in advance to everyone who puts their hand up. Giving even a small amount of your time helps us deliver an amazing day for our children, families and wider community — while raising important funds for our school.
