SPC Mothers’ Day Masses 2021

After some time away we are now ready and keen to invite all Mums back to the College for this year’s Mothers’ Day Masses on Friday 7 May.

 

We will have two Masses in the Gym, based on House groups, as per usual:

  • 7.45am – Hanrahan, Hickey, Rice
  • 10.00am – Berg, Coghlan, Crichton.

The school day will run as normal with boys out of class for their respective Mass.  Morning Tea for mothers will be supplied by the P & F in the Robson Auditorium following each Mass. Parking will be available on the tennis courts.

 

To ensure a safe event in line with the College’s COVID-19 Safe Plan, the following requirements need to be adhered to:

  • Only one mother or mother-figure can attend the Mass with their son/s.
  • This will be a ticketed event and entry to the Gym will only be permitted when showing your ticket. The numbers at each Mass will be capped and tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Mums can only attend the Mass that applies to their son’s House.  If you choose the incorrect Mass, your ticket will be void.
  • Prior to entry at the Gym, all Mums will need to register with Services NSW.  There will be multiple QR code signs placed outside the Gym for check-in. Confirmation of check-in will need to be shown with your ticket on entry.
  • Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each Mass.
  • A – K surnames are to enter via the door near the Duffy Centre accessed by the driveway between the Gym and the Ovals.
  • L – Z surnames are to enter via the door near the Fatima Nets accessed by the Waterford House Driveway.
  • Ticket orders will close Friday 30 April or when the cap on numbers has been reached, whichever comes first.   Due to the College’s COVID-19 Safety Plan, there is no capacity to increase the numbers at either of these two Masses or extend the closing date for tickets.
  • No external siblings or family members can attend.
  • If you have any flu-like symptoms, please do not attend. Please ensure you are  aware of and follow any advice from NSW Health regarding the Latest COVID-19 case locations and alerts in NSW - COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Family groupings will be seated together at the Mass.

The College will email all Mums this Friday, 23 April at 5.00pm with the Try Booking link to book tickets for the Mass. This is a free booking system.  When booking your ticket, you will also need to include your son/s on your ticket, along with their Homeroom/s, so that we have the number of attendees. You can only book for your immediate family.
