We made it! Another crazy year done and dusted!

I just want to thank all of the Yarrabah families for doing their bit by keeping unwell kids at home or collecting them early when asked, I know this became taxing as the year went on but it helped keep our school community healthy and well.

As we approach the new year this is your reminder that I require updated management plans for – Asthma, allergies, epilepsy, diabetes and anaphylaxis. If your child lives with any of these conditions I require a new plan every 12 months.

In terms of medications being administered at school I would love these to be brought in on our curriculum day next year, Friday 28th January with your signed medication authority so that I am organised for day one on the Monday.

That curriculum day may also be a good time to make a time to chat to me if you wanted me to be aware of any concerns you have around your child’s medical needs whilst at school.
