THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD PROGRAM

On Thursday 2 December, The Duke of Ed Award program celebrated the success of our deserving award recipients.

Over the past 2 years, 40 students completed their Bronze Award, with 8 students moving through to their Silver Award and a further 4 students now beginning their Gold Award. In completing their respective awards, these students have completed up to 2,392 hours being physically active, learning a new skill and volunteering in the community.

On top of this, each student has completed an adventurous journey where they were pushed out of their comfort zone on a hiking expedition.

This award showcases incredible leadership, commitment and motivation towards achieving their goals for each section of the award, as well as great resilience to persevere during Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions.

Congratulations to these students on their outstanding achievements.

Thank you.
