Collecting your student early

If you need to collect your student before the end of the school day please provide them with a note in the morning that they can show their class teacher a few minutes before pick up time. This way, the student will be waiting at the office to be collected when you arrive. 

It is not always possible for students to be located at short notice. Class rooms often change and sport or other activities could mean your student cannot be readily located.

Students must not leave school grounds at any time without signing out at the office.

Please Update your Details

We understand that from time to time student details may change. Please remember to notify the office immediately if your contact details change ie Mobile numbers, Occupation/Employer, Work place phone number, etc.

It is also imperative that we have your student Emergency Contacts correct.  In the event of illness or injury, we have a duty of care to ensure that students are only released with a relative or family friend who appears on the student record. 

Please review these details from time to time and advise, particularly if you need to ADD or REMOVE one of your emergencies.

Absence Line

Reminder to all parents to please notify the school on 5821 4322 ext 2 whenever your student/s will be absent.  It is an Education Department requirement that schools clarify every student absence.

School Belongings

Please ensure that everything your child brings to school has their name clearly marked on it.  We frequently receive lost property in the office that could easily be returned to the rightful owner if it was named.

Asthma

If your child has asthma please make sure you have provided the school with a current Asthma Action Plan signed by your GP.

The Dr's in Schools program can also complete an Asthma Action Plan on your behalf, if we have your consent. Please provide consent by contacting the school at shepparton.hs@edumail.vic.gov.au
