Boarding Life

Boarding Run Club

We are excited to share that the Boarding House has launched a new Run Club, and it is already gaining momentum. In our first week, four girls joined in, and by the second week our numbers had grown to eight. It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm building, with boarders encouraging one another to come along and give it a go.

So far, our runs have taken us around the local area, particularly the beautiful Tusmore Park, where the cherry blossom trees have been in full bloom. Next week, we plan to head to Victoria Park for a change of scenery and a new challenge.

The introduction of Run Club highlights the importance of regular exercise in the Boarding House. Physical activity is not only beneficial for health and fitness, but it also provides a valuable outlet for stress, supports mental wellbeing, and encourages positive social connections between year levels. Boarding life can be busy and sometimes demanding, and opportunities like Run Club give the girls a chance to reset, recharge, and grow in confidence together.

We look forward to seeing even more students lace up their shoes and join us in the weeks ahead!
