A fun week in Paddock 2 Plate saw us use some simple recipes for students to follow. Juniors worked independently to make Banana Split in a Cone. A little bit of yumminess was enjoyed. They collected all ingredients, drizzled some chocolate into the base of their cone, cut their bananas small and scooped them in, with some ice cream on top the Banana Split was complete. Students wrote up in their recipe in their books. These will be sent home at the end of this term. Trusting that this will also encourage everyone to practice some of the recipes they have made.
Seniors completed extension activities outside of the kitchen, writing the procedure for making Lemonade Scones using photos provided. They worked so well in their teams, ensuring that all students were included in either putting the ingredients into the bowl, mixing, kneading, rolling cutting and preparing the tray with butter. We all really enjoyed how fluffy the scones were. Super Efforts by all!

7/8/26 - Junior room goes to Deni and Benji for their focus and care with preparing their Banana Split and as an extension activity, we planted passion fruit vines near the chicken yard. Both Trusting that we will be enjoying some produce in the near future. Junior Room also completed a weed hunt. We all noticed that our brassicas are growing well and our beetroot is maturing also.
Senior P2P Champions are Ella McLaren and Stella Beale for their excellent clarifying questions and enthusiasm in the kitchen. Top effort!
