What an absolute blast of a week we've had celebrating our junior students reaching their 100 Days of School milestone!

Over the past two weeks, students have been busy participating in a range of special 100 Days of School activities. They have enjoyed plenty of handwriting practice, counted different collections by tens, searched for groups of ten matching items, and reflected on their first 100 days by writing about what they have learned, what they are proud of, and their favourite experiences so far this year.

Friday was the highlight of our celebrations! It was wonderful to see everyone make such a fantastic effort dressing up as 100-year-old people and fully embracing the fun.

Throughout the day, students celebrated by sorting balloons into 10 groups of 10, creating 100 Days hats, reading stories about 100 days of school, and dancing while counting all the way to 100. Our Year 3/4 students joined in the excitement, helping us organise collections of 100 markers, 100 connecting blocks, 100 mini blocks, 100 craft sticks, and even 100 grains of rice! The Prep students also worked hard to make 10 groups of 10 Fruit Rings, which they proudly turned into colourful necklaces.

At lunchtime, the whole school joined us in the multipurpose room for a special celebration. We enjoyed a party feast together and had lots of laughs taking silly photos with fun character props.

After lunch, our regular Choose Your Own Adventure session had a special twist, with many children choosing to head to the new playground to join Ms Thorley for an exciting game of Pirates.

We finished the day with a presentation of certificates, recognising each student's wonderful achievement of reaching 100 days of learning this year.

It was truly a fantastic day, filled with laughter, learning, and celebration. We are so proud of everything our F/1/2 students have achieved in their first 100 days of school this year!
