🤒 Keep Children Home When Unwell

We have a child at our school with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is not contagious, but it makes children more vulnerable to germs. Even a simple cold can lead to serious

🧼 How We Can All Help

To reduce the spread of germs and keep everyone healthy:

  1. Keep unwell children at home
  2. Teach and encourage good hand hygiene
  3. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
  4. Cover coughs and sneezes with elbow or tissue.
  5. Remember: It’s impossible to avoid all infections, but these steps lower the risk for everyone.

Please keep your child at home if they are unwell or recovering from a recent contagious illness. This includes:

  • Vomiting or diarrhoea
  • Cold or flu symptoms
  • Covid-19
  • Chest infections
  • Chickenpox
  • Whooping cough
  • Any other contagious conditions

Children should stay home until they are symptom-free

Thank you for your support and cooperation!

If you have any questions, please contact the school office

Students completing Year 6 in any of our CSBB primary schools have always had a pathway into St Leo’s Catholic College in Wahroonga and Mercy Catholic College in Chatswood; Siena offers an additional option in response to community feedback about the need for another Catholic College on the North Shore.   Families are warmly invited to attend the Siena Catholic College Open Days in March 2026 to meet key staff, hear about the vision for the new College, and explore the facilities and programs that will be available.  For further information visit the Siena website
