Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all the families who have been joining us for our Meet & Greet interviews this week. Your child’s teachers have valued connecting with you and learning more about your children—their interests, their strengths, and the goals you hold for them this year. These conversations help us build strong partnerships from the very beginning, and we truly value the time you are taking to share your insights that support your child’s growth.
We’re excited to carry this momentum into the term and year ahead and look forward to working together. If you have any follow‑up questions or thoughts please feel free to reach out.

As we prepare for the season of Lent let us remember that the season begins with Ash Wednesday, which also marks the beginning of the annual Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal. Donations to Project Compassion allows Caritas Australia, the Catholic Agency for International Aid and Development, to work with local communities around the world to alleviate poverty, hunger, oppression and injustice.
We encourage you to put your compassion into action this Lent through your prayer, fasting and almsgiving by supporting Project Compassion. Yesterday we celebrated Shrove Tuesday with pancakes and a liturgy where we buried the “Alleluia” as a symbol of the great joy we experience with the news of the Risen Lord on Easter Sunday. Today we all received ashes to remind us of God's great love for us.
