Canteen

The EHPS Canteen opened last Monday to provide lunch orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during school terms. This very popular service requires a team of volunteers to assist with the preparation and delivery of orders lunches to our students. 

Order lunch online using the Canteen dashboard on Compass. Orders must be placed by 8:30am on the day required. There are no over the counter sales. 

If you need to cancel an order, process the cancellation by 8:30am on the day the order is for. The funds will be available to apply to a future order. Alternatively, contact the School Office to reschedule the date to deliver the canteen order.

Volunteers Needed!

To run a successful service, a team of volunteers is required to assist with lunch preparation and delivery. It’s a wonderful service to the school and greatly appreciated by me. It’s also a great way to make friends and meet other parents. Children love to visit when Mum, Dad or Grandparent is helping in the Canteen.

Canteen volunteers are required on:

• Monday from 11.15am to 1.45pm,
• Wednesday from 9.00am to 1.45pm, and
• Friday from 9.00am to 1.45pm.

You will be on duty once or twice each term (approximately every four to six weeks) with me and at least one other volunteer. If you are unable to commit to a regular roster, or have a special request, such as being on a certain team or with a specific friend, these will be taken into consideration when the roster is created. 

EHPS is a Child Safe school and all volunteers are required to hold a current volunteer Working with Children Check (WWCC). Before volunteering for the first time, present your WWCC card, sign the Child Safety Code of Conduct Acknowledgement and complete the OH&S inducation for volunteers at the School Office.
