On Wednesday evening last week there was a vocal concert featuring students in Years 5 to 12 who take individual vocal lessons. It was a wonderful performance experience for the students that was appreciated by the enthusiastic audience. For some of the students it was their first experience of this type, while for the Senior School students, it was an anticipated performance event.
Performing Arts staff transformed the multi-purpose room at Canowindra into a very special venue.
One parent gave some feedback;
This was our first time attending a singing night, and I was blown away, not only by the incredible talent, but also by the effort put into creating such a cosy, intimate atmosphere for them to perform.
Well done to you all; I see you all going above and beyond, and as a parent, it makes me so happy to know my child is in such caring hands.
The participants are to be commended on their well-performed and well-executed performances.

The Founders Day services are a highlight of the College calendar. This year there are 175 student musicians participating in the service. Parents and friends are warmly invited to attend the services at St Paul’s Cathedral on Thursday 25th June at 10:00am (Middle School) and/or 1pm (Years 9–12). Both services will feature the Symphonic Band, the Year 5-12 Choirs, String Orchestra and other selected instrumentalists.
In preparation for the event, there are some extra rehearsals. Parents will be notified of these and will be asked to provide consent for the events associated with the day. Rehearsals will also appear on students’ Compass schedule.

The Semester 1 Year 8 Dance and Drama classes are combining to present a performance to showcase their achievements.
Entitled Show Class, the presentation is on Wednesday 17th June at 4:30pm in the Yirramboi Assembly Hall.
It is an event not to be missed!
