During the holidays, I had the absolute privilege of smiling from ear to ear as I watched our three Mt A students, Monica M, Imogen M and Ava C all present alongside economists, academics and educators from across Australia and international settings. I couldn't be prouder.

They were confident, exceptional, vulnerable, and deeply empathetic as they shared their International Trade research with authenticity, courage, and professionalism. They represented Mt A with such maturity and grace, answering questions thoughtfully and contributing meaningfully to conversations about real-world economic issues. They truly did Mt A proud and reminded everyone that, in an age of AI, our greatest advantage remains the human edge.

It was a privilege to watch all three in action. Their willingness to share their learning, challenge ideas and engage with leading economists left a lasting impression on those around them. We all walked away feeling ten feet taller.

Attached are a few photos and a short video capturing their reflections at the end of their presentations.

We also attended the Women in Economics Network Luncheon. The economists absolutely loved hearing the students' perspectives and have been genuinely impressed by the quality of their thinking and their contributions to discussions on contemporary economic issues.
