LITERACY

In Literacy, we have been learning about adjectives and how they help us to describe characters and settings in our reading and writing. Students have also begun summarising stories, focusing on retelling the important parts in the correct order.

MATHS

In Maths, we have been exploring time. Last week, students practised the days of the week and months of the year and used calendars to locate and record information. This week, we are learning to identify and represent different times, including reading times on both analogue and digital clocks. 

SPEAKING

It has been great to see so many students coming prepared for their speaking day. Over the next fortnight, the topic will be 'Favourite Hobby,' where students will share what they enjoy doing in their free time!
