Sister School Visit

Suzanne Cory High School Welcomes Delegation from Shanghai Foreign Language School

On Thursday, 14th November, Suzanne Cory High School had the honour of hosting a delegation from the prestigious Shanghai Foreign Language School, led by Principal Yuehua Du. This visit marked a significant milestone as both schools signed a sister-school agreement, reaffirming our collaborative relationship. The signing ceremony was witnessed by distinguished guests, including Executive Director Linda Vaughan from the International Education Division of the Department of Education, Educational Counsellor Ding Li, and Dr. Li Linze from the Chinese Consulate-General in Melbourne.

The delegation spent a meaningful day exploring Suzanne Cory’s outstanding facilities and learning about our featured subjects and programs. They were particularly impressed by the school’s academic rigor, innovative curriculum, and vibrant learning environment. This visit celebrated the shared vision and mutual respect between our schools, laying a strong foundation for future collaboration.

Looking ahead, we are excited to host the first student group from Shanghai Foreign Language School at Suzanne Cory and to send our own students to Shanghai in 2025. This renewed partnership promises to foster rich cultural exchange and strengthen educational opportunities for both communities, reflecting our commitment to global learning and collaboration.
