Road Closures / Bus Detours

Road Opening

Precinct Rd will be reopened for Friday 16/10. The S22 AM & PM, S27 AM & PM and S9 PM services will return to their normal routes that morning.

New Bus Detour

From Friday 16/10, the northbound bus stop on Barwon Heads Rd at the corner of Precinct Rd in Charlemont will be closed until further notice.

During this time, students that catch the S22, S23 or S24 in the afternoon and usually get off at the northbound bus stop on Barwon Heads Rd at the corner of Precinct Rd will need to catch the S27 or S22 and get off at one of the highlighted stops indicated below.

Bus Detour

From Monday 24/8 until Friday 16/10 (approx.), the intersection of Fischer St and Beach Rd will be closed to all traffic except those travelling south on Fischer St.

During this period, School Bus Services will have a detour via Zeally Bay Rd, The Esplanade and Cowrie Rd, in line with the Public Bus Routes.

Please note that the bus stops at Beach Rd/Fischer St on both sides of Fischer St (highlighted yellow X) will not be accessible during the works.

Customer notices will be placed at affected stops advising passengers to use the temporary stops at Cowrie Rd/Fischer St (marked by a green bus).
