Fight MND!

VM Slushy Fundraiser

On Tuesday, 2nd of September, JJ, Aaliyah, and Alice- Year 12 VCE VM students- successfully ran a Slushy Fundraiser to support Motor Neurone Disease (MND). As part of their community project, the students took charge in planning and coordinating the event, including designing and distributing posters throughout the school to promote it.

The Slushy Machine was in action during both recess and lunch, with students able to purchase a refreshing Slushy for just $2.

To add extra excitement, every purchase included a raffle ticket, giving participants the chance to win a TimeZone voucher.

The sunny weather made it the perfect day for a cool drink, and thanks to the enthusiastic support of the school community, the students raised over $500!

JJ, Aaliyah, and Alice should feel immensely proud of their hard work and and the difference they made in supporting a great cause.
