Our Year 11 Business Management students were lucky to hear from four inspiring Ballarat High School alumni in a panel recently all about entrepreneurship.
Zara Jarvis (2014) shared her journey through multiple business ventures before launching her successful Sound Check Studios, highlighting how much you can learn from failure.
Mates and co-founders Max Tomich & Aidan Kuzmich (2017) spoke about launching Aussie Buckets from the ground up, literally, growing their excavator attachment manufacturing business into a multinational company.
Matt Stewart (1999), a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, gave insight into branding, ownership, and the legal hurdles of trading internationally. Prior to working in law, Matt completed a Bachelor of Science (Medical, Forensic and Analytical Science), a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Chemical Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy at Victoria University.
Huge thanks to our alumni for motivating our students as they prepare for their upcoming Market Day and inspiring the future entrepreneurs in the room!
