A Stage for Our Stars
We’ve heard some feedback from families that the $10 ticket cost for this year’s school performance came as a surprise, so we wanted to explain more clearly why we have introduced a ticket charge this year.
At our school performance two years ago, parents told us that it was difficult to see the children clearly because they were performing without a stage. Many families also commented that it was a shame our children didn’t have a proper stage on which to perform. We listened to that feedback, and this year we are excited to provide a stage so that every child can be seen, celebrated and experience the magic of performing on a proper stage.
Hiring the stage is a significant cost for the school, and the $10 ticket is helping us meet part of that cost. We believe it is worth investing in this opportunity for our children and giving them the experience of performing in a theatre-style setting. We appreciate that the additional cost may not have been expected, and we are grateful for your support in helping us make this special experience possible for our students.
Breakfast Club Needs You!
Our Breakfast Club is a much-loved service that helps our children start their school day feeling happy, settled and ready to learn. We know how much our children and families value having Breakfast Club available and we need help to manage the administration and keep it running into 2027.
This is not a huge role and it doesn’t need to be done by one person — it could easily be shared between two or more families. We already have a wonderful understanding of our children, families and how Breakfast Club operates, so we are simply looking for someone (or a small team) who can help keep the administration organised. If you value this service and could spare some time to help keep it going, please get in touch with the school.
