BEHAVIOUR

We are pleased to report a continuing positive trend in student behaviour across SME. Compared with the same time last year, there has been a 23.45% reduction in combined major and minor behaviour incidents. This encouraging result reflects our learners’ ongoing commitment to demonstrating our school values every day. As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, I will continue to share behaviour data in our newsletter. All information is drawn directly from our online Compass system, ensuring that the data is current, accurate, and up to date.

We have also noticed a significant decrease in incidents during bus line-up times and on school buses. This is a fantastic achievement and highlights the safe and respectful choices our learners are making in these spaces. Thank you to all families for supporting this.

ATTENDANCE

Our whole-school attendance rate is currently 93%, which is an excellent result. Regular attendance is one of the strongest contributors to learner success, helping learners build strong relationships, maintain learning routines, and achieve their best academically and socially. We celebrate the efforts of our learners and families!
