Do you love soccer?

Is your knowledge of the game second to none? We aren't looking for casual fans; we’re looking for the next generation of officials who have a passion for fairness, a drive for fitness, and the backbone to make the big calls.

If you’re 13+ and want to turn your obsession with the game into a paid role, it’s time to step off the sidelines and onto the pitch.

💰 Why Become a Ref?

  • Get Paid: Earn money while staying active in the sport you love.
  • The Gear: Get fully kitted out in professional Macron gear.
  • The Skills: Build leadership, confidence, and quick decision-making.
  • The Community: We are looking for dedicated individuals to join the FV Shepparton Saturday morning competition.

What you need to do:

  1. Register your PlayFootball account as Learner Vic (Note: If you have an existing Play Football account, please register to Learner Vic and select Referee). You will then receive an approval notification via email from PlayFootball (which may take up to 2 working days). U18's will require a Working with Children Check exemption, which can be done by clicking HERE.
  2. Login to etrainu using your FA Number with the prefix 'fa.' (use Google Chrome). For example, 'fa.12345678'.
  3. Register for and complete 100% of the Junior Football Match Official Online Course. This costs $33.

Now you will be ready for the practical training course with Mr Gospel.  This costs $166 and pays for:

  • Macron Referee Uniform – shirt, shorts, socks (valued at $120)
  • Discounted second year Referee registration
  • Fox 40 Whistle
  • Red & Yellow cards
  • Assistant Referee flags
  • Free first year Referee registration (valued at $100)

Are you ready to lead?

Don't just watch the game—control it!

  • For more info or to start the process, speak to someone within your nearest local soccer club.
  • The whistle is waiting. Are you?
