8CCC, Ivo and Pavel Sedlacek and Sukhpreet Singh!
Six of our school cohort went live on air to spruik our Autumn Fair. They were radio superstars, it's well worth the listen on our website News page! They spoke about what their favourite parts of the Fair are, what's on offer, our famous raffle and some quirky stories of funny things found at the Lawn Sale. This interview showcases the Steiner difference; they were courageous, they knew (in depth) about all aspects of the Fair and were incredibly articulate with strong vocabularies.
In just one day, we had the sheer delight of hosting three Internationally acclaimed artists. Ivo and Pavel from the Czech Republic played some instruments unknown to the world. This included a 'one of a kind' 36 string violin and a flute that could play multiple different sounds at once.
Then we had Sukhpreet Singh doing live painting in with Class 2, painting some pink Galah's. Sukhpreet is an artist from Northern India and is well known for his portraits of life in India. His artistry has been commisioned by over 40 countries.
These activities and events show how much community and diversity mean to our wonderful school. Well done to everyone involved!
