100 Days Brighter!

What a fun and memorable day we had celebrating 100 Days of Prep! The classrooms were full of excitement as we marked this special milestone with lots of hands-on activities, creative crafts and plenty of smiles.

Throughout the day, the students proudly wore their 100 Days Brighter crowns and created colourful 100 Days necklaces by threading 100 beads. They also took part in a range of maths activities all about the number 100. We explored different ways to make 100, talked about what 100 can look like and worked together to create collections of 100 using different materials. It was wonderful to see the students sharing their ideas and discovering that there isn't just one way to represent 100.

We also enjoyed reading lots of books about the first 100 days of school. These stories gave us the chance to reflect on our own learning journey and think about how much we have grown since our very first day of Prep.

One of the highlights of the day was looking back at the beginning of the year. The students were so surprised by how much they have learned in just 100 days! We talked about all the new things we can do now, from reading and writing to solving maths problems, making new friends and becoming more confident learners. It was so lovely to see how proud they were of themselves and all they have achieved.

The first 100 days of Prep have been filled with learning, laughter and so much growth. Every child has worked incredibly hard, and it has been such a privilege to watch their confidence and independence blossom. We are so proud of everything our Prep students have accomplished and can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
