Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

In Maths, Grade 4 students have been learning about equivalent fractions. They have been exploring how different fractions can represent the same amount by using models, diagrams, and multiplication strategies to identify and create equivalent fractions.
During this week's SEL lesson, Grade 4 students explored different emotions through art. They responded to a range of emotions by using lines, colours, shapes and different forms, including squiggly lines, to represent how each emotion might look and feel.
This week, the Grade 3 students have been busy becoming time-telling experts. They have been learning how to read analogue clocks and have done an amazing job developing their understanding of hours, minutes, and the relationship between the two hands. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they have eagerly applied their learning throughout the week. There has been a noticeable drop in questions like, “How long until lunch?” as students have been using their new skills to independently keep track of the time and our daily routines! Well done 3B.
