Transition Dates for 2026 Prep Students

Families should have already received their Compass login details.

29th January 2026 - all students begin the school year ( Prep students finish at 1 pm )
30th January 2026 ( Prep students finish at 1pm )
4th February 2026 Prep student testing ( no attendance for Prep )
11th February 2026 Prep student testing ( no attendance for Prep )
18th February 2026 Prep student testing ( no attendance for Prep )
25th February 2026 Prep student testing ( no attendance for Prep )
4th March 2026 Prep student testing ( no attendance for Prep )
Prep students do not attend on Wednesdays until after the Labor Day weekend.
The first full week begins on 10th March 2026
Spartan Uniform Shop Christmas hours
Please note that there are no deliveries to schools in the last week of Term 4.
Purchases are pick up from shop only.
- Final Uniform Delivery 2025 – Week 10 2025 8th - 12th December 2025
- First Uniform Delivery 2026 – Week 1 2026 28th– 30th January 2026
- Please note the ‘Delivery to School’ option will be suspended after the final 2025 delivery and will reopen on Wednesday 21st January ready for ‘Back to School’ orders.
- Orders for delivery to home will continue to be processed and sent via Australia Post. (Except during our Christmas Closure period from 23rd December to 6th January)
- All stores will close at 5.00 pm on Monday 22nd December and reopen at 9.00 am Wednesday 7th January. Please check the website for each store’s hours.
- All stores will be open on Australia Day Public Holiday 26th January 2026

How to enter Kalinda Primary School
Please obey the local speed limits - most are 40km per hour, and the speed along Kalinda Road changes during school drop off and pick up hours. We have several schools in the area, and drop off and pick up times can be extremely busy. Please take your time, and do not attempt U-turns on Kalinda Road.
Michael, the crossing supervisor does a wonderful job of assisting our students and families crossing busy Kalinda Road.
When parking in local side streets, please be considerate and leave enough space for homeowners to enter and leave safely. Maroondah City Council parking officers regularly check the local streets and will fine any car illegally parked.
Please do not park in the staff car park. Please pass this message on to any one else who may pick up your children. The first bay in the carpark is for Team Kids drop off and pick up.
The staff car park area is out of bounds for students and families for safety reasons. Trucks and delivery vans use this area throughout the day, as well as staff who sometimes start at staggered times.
It is unsafe for parents and children to walk through the carpark, and we ask that you use the paths around the grounds.
