Grade 3-6 High School and Yarra Youth Visits

Grade 3-6 students have visited local high schools in the past few weeks to experience school life after they graduate from primary school. These visits with their peers and teachers not only prepare our students for their high school journey, but also introduces them to extra curriculums that are on offer.
Activities included:
- STEM experiment
- A sporting activity
- An environmental lesson
- A music session
- A student Q&A with Year 7 & 8 KHS students (including FPS alumni )
- A BBQ lunch cooked by high school student leaders, followed by fun games
Thank you to Collingwood College and Kew High School for hosting our students and making them feel welcome!
| Year 5/6 students visited Atherton Gardens and participated in a session with Melbourne Victory Football Club and members of Yarra Youth. The sessions were supported by the Yarra Youth Centre, located directly opposite Atherton Gardens. During the sessions, students worked together on a variety of activities that focussed on the arts and physical activity. Students were supported by their classroom teachers, Yarra Youth leaders and coaches from Melbourne Victory Football Club. |
