Performing Arts

In the lead up to Fitzroy’s annual Fantastic Fete this weekend (Saturday 15 November), students from Prep to Grade 6 have been rehearsing their class choir songs. Students have worked hard to learn both English and French lyrics and have practiced following non-verbal directions. They have applied their understanding of tempo, scale, melody and harmony to achieve blending their voices and working together as a choir. 

Please note, performance times have been updated since my Compass notification last week. Fitzroy Primary School student performances are scheduled to commence at the stage from 12.30pm. We would love your help making sure students are prepared and at the stage on time for their performances. The times below are approximate and may vary slightly on the day.

12.45pm  3-6 meet near stage

The Fantastic Fete is such a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate the skills they have developed in Performing Arts this year. I’d love to say a huge thank you to the students for their hard work and to our families for supporting students with practicing at home. 

The students are proud of what they have achieved and can't wait to perform for you!
