The Music Faculty is buzzing with excitement as plans come together for three fantastic concerts over the next six months.

Meet the Tutors - Wednesday 1 April

Meet The Tutors takes place on Wednesday 1 April, when our talented music tutors, staff and students will take the stage with a vibrant program of classic pop hits, jazz favourites, musical theatre, contemporary tunes and more. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet our tutors and experience firsthand the incredible work they do with our students.

Pittwater House Soul & Blues Festival - Thursday 21 May

ARIA Award-winning vocalist, Phil Burton, will join our students on stage for a night of soul-stirring hits, transporting you straight to the birthplace of soul and blues. Get ready to be wowed — and bring your dancing shoes for a night of great music and fun.  The festival will be a culmination of a series of workshops and rehearsals in which our students will work closely with professional musicians.   Tickets will be on sale in Term 2.

A Night At The Movies - Monday 14 September

Lights, Camera and Music .... walk the red carpet and experience the magic of the movies as our musicians bring some of the most iconic film soundtracks to life on stage hits. Popcorn, choc tops and Maltesers are the order of the night as you’re transported into the magical world of make-believe.

Twilight Concert Series

We are delighted to introduce a new performance opportunity for Junior School students who are learning to sing or play an instrument with our tutors.

The Twilight Concert Series will give students the chance to share their musical progress with family and friends in a relaxed and informal setting. Concerts will be held on the last Monday of Terms 1, 2 and 3, from 4:00pm to 5.00pm in the Junior School playground.

Students receiving private tuition will have the opportunity to perform at one of the concerts, as determined by their tutor. Junior School music ensembles will also take part in the series.

Our first concert will be held on Monday 30 March, featuring performances from Junior Choir (Years 2–3) and the Vocal Ensemble (Years 4–6).

We look forward to seeing many families there to support our young musicians.
