Library - Years 7 to 10 Invitation

The Senior School Library invites parents/carers of students in Years 7-10 to participate in 'Two of a kind – an Autumn holiday reading activity'.

What is ‘Two of a Kind’?

Each parent/carer and child will:

• Engage in shared holiday reading
• Receive a copy of the same book – the title, author and genre will remain a mystery until it comes home and you and your child unwrap it together
• Read the book and share your thoughts and opinions – a mini book club

Why is reading important?

Reading with your child:

• Teaches them important lessons about the world, behaviour and feelings
• Models that reading is a lifelong passion, not something that is limited to the school years
• Creates special moments with children

If you would like to participate, please register via this link before March 25th.  Books will be sent home with your child in Week 10 and should be returned at the start of the Term 2.
