Prep 2027 enrolments begin at the start of Term 2. I encourage our community to reach out to anyone they know that may be ready for their child to start prep next year and sign up to come on a tour and/or get their enrolment paperwork underway. All enrolments are now done online. If anyone needs any assistance in this space, please do not hesitate to reach out to the ELC staff or primary school administration team to assist you.
All Prep 2027 enrolments are due Friday 31st July.
What a terrific morning we had showcasing our ELC, Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 creativity with their fabulous Easter hats! It is always such a light hearted and fun way to end Term 1. A big congratulations to all of the winners of the 10 Easter Raffle prizes! Thank you to our community for getting involved and purchasing tickets.
Each year it is an absolute joy to celebrate Harmony Day with our school community. Hillsmeade is lucky to have a very diverse population and we are always so blown away by the cultural attire and strong cultural identity our students have. The strong inclusive approach we have ensures that everyone belongs and we celebrate this not only on Harmony Day, but all throughout the year.
A big thank you to Miss Sheers, the wellbeing team and our student leaders for organising the various events that were held for Harmony Day.
Book your spot now! Compass bookings are live and we encourage families to come along in Week 2 of next term to celebrate your child's learning journey so far this year and look ahead as to what the rest of the year holds. It will also be a good chance to discuss ongoing reporting and the learning tasks that have been shared via Compass.
It was so much fun to see everyone dressed up last Friday to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. Over $500 was donated by our school community and we are so grateful for the support. Some of the outfits were incredibly creative as students dressed as something that begins with the first letter of their name! I was personally impressed to see TWO Principals!! Well done to Liana and Piper who helped host assembly as Principals!
A big thank you to the SRC team and Miss Worrell for organising this event. Stay tuned for details about next term's SRC charity fundraiser.
Wishing all of our school families a safe and restful break over the next two weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 20th April.
