That's A Wrap

Stage 6 Manufacturing and Engineering students are finishing off their final whole-of-class project before moving on to their HSC major work. In preparation for this, each project they have worked on over the past year has seen students use different machines and different skills.

Stages 4 & 5 Timber

Students in Stage 4 & 5 Timber have had the opportunity to make a timber chopping board as their end-of-year project. Students had to select timber and sketch out a design for approval, before starting production. They created widening joints using biscuits, then cut, shaped, sanded and oiled their design to take home just in time for Christmas! Don't they look great.

Project Crunch Time

Koby and Aidan from Year 10 Industrial Technology - Metals have been working hard to complete their Year 10 design project before the end of the year.

Since the end of Term 2 they have designed, planned and produced coffee tables from steel, finished with matte paint and geometric timber panels.

Well done boys
