The Year of Firsts

A Celebration of Prep Achievements

This time of year invites us to pause and reflect on the remarkable journey of our youngest—and largest—MEPS cohort: our Prep students. Friday’s assembly beautifully showcased their extraordinary growth, with 15 stunning watercolour paintings depicting the many “firsts” and milestone events that have shaped their inaugural year of schooling.

The breadth of experiences our Preps have enjoyed is truly impressive. Each event offered rich opportunities for learning, connection and confidence-building and together they paint a vibrant picture of a year filled with joy, curiosity and community. Remarkably, the year is not yet over and even more exciting experiences await.

What makes this celebration even more special is that many of these events were enjoyed across the school, helping our Preps feel connected to the broader MEPS community from the very beginning.
