Lalor East PS – Inter-School Sports Report: Round 6 vs Lalor Gardens

Our students showed fantastic effort and teamwork this week as we faced Lalor Gardens in Round 6 of inter-school sports. It was a tightly contested round across all games, with plenty of close calls and impressive wins.

Rounders

  • Girls: A nail-biting game that came down to the wire, but Lalor East PS narrowly lost 7–8. The girls gave it their all and kept the pressure on right to the end.
  • Boys: Despite some strong moments, the boys faced a tough match and went down 1–6. A valuable learning experience as they continue to develop their skills.

Hot Shots Tennis

  • Girls: The girls played confidently and secured a 32–18 win with some excellent rallies and strong serving.
  • Boys: A dominant 33–14 performance saw the boys come out on top with consistent plays and great focus.

Cricket (Mixed)

  • A heartbreaker of a match that ended in a narrow 47–46 loss. It was one of the closest games of the season, and our cricketers should be proud of their efforts.
