Spring has sprung and it's hard to believe it's already time to start thinking about your prospective exhibits for the 2027 Foster & District Show!

If you haven't already done so, it's not too late to plant your giant pumpkin seeds to be in with the chance to win hundreds of dollars in prize money, not to mention glory, with your biggest or best decorated pumpkin. Seeds are available for pick-up at the Foster Vet Clinic and are free to anyone keen to have a go.

The Calf Classic will be back in 2027, and to get excited/prepared, the Foster Show committee will host a FREE calf-handling workshop on Sunday 22nd November 2026 from 10:30am at the Foster Showgrounds. You'll have an opportunity to practice with your calves and learn tips and tricks from those experienced in the art of showing cattle. Participants can also enjoy a free sausage sizzle after their hard work wrangling calves for the morning. For more info regarding calf handling, contact Geoff on 0400 142 335 or Robbie on 0400 861 332.
