Andrew Chinn Workshops & Concert - St Augustine's Feast Day

Monday, 28th of August was St Augustine's Feast Day. This is a day when we celebrate the patron saint of our school. Saint Augustine was an early leading Father of the Church, and his inspired writings are still widely quoted today. Here are a few of St Augustine's quotes to consider;

As part of our celebrations, we had Australian religious songwriter and singer, Andrew Chinn, visit our school to share his songs with our children. Andrew’s songs, such as “These Hands”, “Rainbow”, “An African Blessing” and “Rise Up!” are used in classrooms and liturgies around Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.

Each class had a session with Andrew through the day, followed by a whole school concert in the afternoon.

We had a great time singing and dancing and thank Andrew for helping us celebrate this special day!

Prayer & Pyjama Evening

We invite all families of our junior students (P-2) to join us for our annual Prayer and Pyjama evening. This will be held in the Dantum Building on Wednesday 6th September, 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Please note that children need to be accompanied by a parent for this event.

Joint Paish Multicultural Festival

Please see flyer below for our Parish Multicultural Festival. This year the festival will be held at St John's Church 20 Coral St Frankston. St Augustine's have been invited to lead the congregation  in singing during communion. An RSVP will go out shortly for families to let us know who will be attending, this will allow us to practice for the day as a group.
