EXCELLENCE AWARDS EVENING 2025

Lions Club Award - Presented to a student from years 7-11 for all round excellence and achievement in 2025

Flinders Courage Award - The Flinders courage award is for a student who no matter the circumstance, demonstrates strength, but equally applies to the students attitude and actions on the sporting field, with peers, or in the community. 

DSE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC - This award recognises an Instrumental Music student for their commitment and excellence in music. 

Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program - Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program is an academic, highly competitive enrichment program run by the University of Melbourne that recognises high - achieving students from across Victoria. 

Mornington Medal Award - This medal is awarded to students that have demonstrated excellent service throughout year 9 Community Project. 

Sports Awards - The Mount Eliza Secondary College Sports Awards recognises outstanding students from each year level who have consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment, sportsmanship, and achievement in school sport. Recipients exemplify our school values through their dedication, teamwork, leadership, and positive contribution to the College’s sporting programs. These awards celebrate students who not only perform at a high level, but who engage fully in school sporting opportunities and represent our community with pride.

ADF Future Innovators Award - This award recognises leadership and teamwork within and school and the broader community, along with respect for others and mateship.

ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership & Teamwork Award - This award recognises leadership and teamwork within and school and the broader community. This student displays strong values that are integral to Australian society. 

Mr Moncrieff Memorial Design Award - This award is given to a year 9 or 10 Design Technology student that has demonstrated a high level of passion, skill and dedication for metal/ woodwork design.

Raymond Ringer Maths Science Scholarship - This award and fund is given to a student to encourage their future studies in the maths and science areas.

Year Level DUX Awards - These students have performed to a high standard all year, across all curriculums and have received the most excellence awards in their year level.
