Year 6 Billy Cart Races

The beginning of the much anticipated, Year 6 Billy Cart Race. With only minor collisions and some savvy steering each Billy cart navigated its way around the Primary oval. Each team dressed to impress in their team theme. After the race, the students and parents gathered for the fundraising silent auction and celebratory BBQ, raising an awesome $336. 

This year the students chose to donate the proceeds of the auction to a not for profit called the Pong. This organisation uses ping pong to raise awareness and funds to free people from human trafficking and slavery.

A big shout out to Mr Chatelier, Mr Bouma and Mr Heading for generously giving their time and skills to help our students build their super slick vehicles.
