Grandparents & Special Friends Day!
Celebrating the special people who shape our children’s lives
Parents, Grandparents and Those Special People
What a joyful occasion Grandparents Day was! Our school was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connection as we welcomed grandparents and special friends into our learning spaces. It was a beautiful reminder of the generational richness that strengthens our community and is part of the MECS heritage.
Students proudly shared their learning—from creative writing to digital technology projects—showcasing the depth and diversity of what they’ve been exploring. These moments of celebrating learning were not just about achievement but about sharing the journey with those who have shaped and supported them.
We deeply value the partnership between home and school, and Grandparents Day highlighted how powerful that connection can be. Seeing grandparents engage with students, ask questions, and participate in activities was a testament to the role they play in nurturing curiosity and confidence.
Our student leaders extended heartfelt hospitality, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. From afternoon tea to classroom visits, the day was filled with warmth and gratitude. Thank you to all who joined us. Your presence made this day truly special, and we look forward to continuing to build a community where every generation is celebrated.
