Languages Week

Hello everyone,

We are excited to celebrate Languages Week from Monday 20th to Friday 24th October! This year’s theme - Identity Through Languages - invites our students and staff to explore how language connects us to who we are and to one another.

Throughout the week, students will participate in engaging activities during their language classes:

• Year 7 - Creating their own Language Passports to reflect their linguistic and cultural identities.
• Year 8 - Designing Postcards to express messages of connection and identity.
• Year 9 - Enjoying a special Music and Mime Show incursion as a farewell to their final year of language studies.

From Monday to Thursday, students and teachers are welcome to visit Room 508 at lunchtime to make Friendship Bracelets in celebration of the week. On Friday lunchtime, students can exchange bracelets with friends as a gesture of appreciation and cultural connection.
